We currently have three open positions: Executive Director, Communications Manager, and Program Manager. See below for more details.
For nearly 15 years, Bedford 2030 has worked to activate climate action in our neighborhood—and it’s worked (a 44% cut in local emissions, years ahead of goal!). Now we’re ready for our next era, and we need a leader who can take that momentum and run with it.
We’re looking for someone with real vision, who can see where this organization can go next and isn’t afraid to think big. Someone who’s a skilled fundraiser, ready to build the relationships and resources that fuel bigger impact. Someone with strong leadership who can rally our small, mighty team around a shared direction with warmth and kindness.
If you’re a builder, a connector, a fundraiser, a big-picture thinker who’s community-minded, and a genuinely good person to work with, we want to hear from you.

Bedford 2030 is hiring a new Communications Manager to promote, educate, engage, and enable the communities we serve to take climate action.
We’re looking for a disciplined creative generalist, a pop-culture-fluent storyteller, an enthusiastic climate nerd, a capable organizer, and a genuinely good human to be our Communications Director’s right-hand.
If you can write like a dream, get in front of a camera, own an out-of-the-box idea, spot a good story, understand why something will make people stop scrolling, and still remember that the website needs updating… apply today!

Bedford 2030 is hiring a new Programs Manager to help implement, coordinate, and expand programs that make climate action practical, accessible, and engaging for our community.
We need an organizer who finds genuine peace in a well-managed spreadsheet, a people person who can make friends with just about anyone, a climate nerd who loves a research rabbit hole, and a communicator who can make complicated things make sense
Someone who can help turn climate action from a big, sometimes overwhelming idea into something a person can actually participate in—whether that’s an energy coaching session, a community workshop, the Greenlight Award®, or helping the town measure its energy use.
