Trees play an important role in climate adaptability and increasing biodiversity, and managing invasive species is essential in maintaining healthy trees. Invasive species are “non-native” species that threaten native biodiversity. Invasives can harm the environment, contributing to habitat degradation and loss. During this workshop, experts will instruct how to manage and remove invasive vines from trees.
Location varies within the local area and will be provided upon registration. Tools will be available, but if you have your own tools and gloves, please bring them. Dress for the weather and stay hydrated! Participants younger than 18 years old will need parental or guardian approval. Forms available on request.
