Climate Action Mixer 2023
Bedford 2030 invites you to the annual Climate Action Mixer at the Bedford Hills Memorial Park Pavilion on Wednesday, July 19, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. We hope to see our neighbors from Bedford and our allies throughout Westchester at this celebration of environmental action, with activities and family fun for all.
The Climate Action Mixer is an annual event that aims to bring all aspects of sustainability and local climate action together in an interactive, collaborative, and accessible way. This year’s event will feature free food, live music, and table after table of experts sharing tips about sustainable living. Meet new friends and enjoy fun activities for kids and adults – bring the whole family!
With goodie swaps, clean technology and energy efficiency demonstrations, raffles and giveaways, and much more, the Climate Action Mixer has educational and sustainable fun in store for people of all ages and experience levels. Some highlights are:
- Bob the Energy Coach who can help determine ways to save energy and money in your home
- Bedford 2030’s Rooted Solutions team will provide resources on incorporating native plants and pollinators into your yard.
- Stop by our Clothes Swap to donate some clothing and take some new pieces home,
- Help us decorate our new Little Free Library
- Make your own plant-based dishes with veggies sourced from the Mount Kisco Elementary School garden
- Meet a beekeeper with her bees and learn about the pollinators who help these gardens thrive.
This fun and free party will take place under the Pavilion at the Bedford Hills Memorial Park from 6 to 8pm. If you’d like to attend, please RSVP by July 17th. We hope to see you there!
